The HD and Fury version of Elite Passing the 2048 campaign. The Qirex fighter class ship is the best to use for Combat events with its 100 firepower rating, and either Feisar or AG-Systems agility class ships for Zone events. I personally value handling over outright speed, finding the Feisar ships best for Race and Time Trial events. In terms of the ships to use, it's really a case of personal preference most of the time. The events are time limited though, so you'll need to hit the target score before the time runs out. Every hit will score you points, with Eliminations scoring even more. You score points by hitting your opponents with weapons. There are no power-ups, so to repair any ship damage you need to get a Perfect Zone - avoiding any further damage.Ĭombat - Combat races focus purely on weapons. This increases automatically as you pass through 'Zones,' which occurs every 20 seconds. You don't control the speed of your ship though. There's only your ship and unlimited number of laps. Zone - Zone events are a WipEout staple, and a bit different. There are no other ships here, you're just racing against the clock. Time Trial - You have a track, a set number of laps and a time to beat. Race - Your standard race against 7 other ships over a set number of laps. A normal pass will be an easier target to achieve - Time Trials will have a slower target time to beat, Races will have a lower finishing position requirement, etc. Each season is made up of various events with certain criteria for 'passing' them. The 2048 Campaign is lifted from WipEout 2048 and comprises three seasons - 2048, 20. During this step you will earn:Īfter all of that, congratulations! Transcendence is yours. The last step is to complete the game's four online trophies, which thankfully are easier than the previous WipEout games. There are some Racebox-specific trophies as well as some that are more easily done here than in Campaign mode. Racebox mode lets you race in any mode you want.
